Stick out your tongue.

Gently set the rounded end of the tongue cleaner at the back of your tongue. The side touching the tongue should have a larger diameter than the side facing up.

To avoid gagging, you may start at the middle of your tongue then gradually start from farther back as you get used to scraping.

Slowly and gently pull the scraper forward, toward the tip of your tongue.

Always scrape from the back of the tongue to the tip to allow bacteria to be removed effectively.

After each scrape, use a washcloth to remove any debris from the scraper. You may choose to rinse the scraper head under water.

Repeat until you’ve scraped the entire surface of your tongue. One to two scrapes across the same area is typically enough.

For maximum effectiveness, use it after every meal.

To clean, wash the tongue scraper with warm water and soap, and dry. Store in a clean, dry area.
