I hope you can spare a moment to consider something important to our community and the world at large.

I’m wondering if you would consider a reusable  model for takeout containers? You can either run one yourself or [share an alternative, i.e. an existing model]! 

I, amongst many others, care a lot about the environment and hope that our community is actively moving towards sustainability. I believe that businesses have the power to move this initiative!

With the ban on single-use plastic happening around the world, I believe that consumers and businesses will be more eco-conscious in their everyday choices. As an avid fan of [restaurant name], I would love to see you be a part of it!

Producing single-use takeout containers (plastic or not) requires energy and resources. Even compostable alternatives have a carbon footprint. As for plastic, most of them are not recycled and only end up in landfills. Over time, single-use items would release a lot of carbon in the atmosphere and only pollute our planet.

I hope you would consider a reusable or closed-loop model for takeout containers to reduce waste and help drive this mission towards sustainability!
